GUEST SERVICES AGENT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for guest arrival and departure experience
  • Provide courteous, professional and attentive guest service at all times
  • Follow up of all guest requests/concerns efficiently
  • Establish a personal rapport with the guest in order to learn about their needs and expectations, find opportunities to connect and wow
  • Actively seek feedback from guests, taking actions to be proactive or provide service recovery as required
  • Assist in the administration of the Front Office daily tasks
  • Upsell guest room types and promote our hotel amenities and services (i.e. dining, spa, guest activities)
  • Strong and effective communication/teamwork with all other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Conference Services, Accounting, etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of the Kananaskis Valley and surrounding area, to build an unrivalled Kananaskis guest experience
  • Knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional in presentation and demeanor
  • Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Previously demonstrated commitment to exceeding guests' expectations at all times
  • Previous experience working within a Front Office environment an asset
  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Resort Management is great preferred
  • Must be computer literate with experience in Windows, Internet
  • Health & Safety conscious
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including shift that are overnight
