Daily/weekly payroll tasks for Engineering and Housekeeping
Ordering and tracking of all engineering/housekeeping supplies
Liaising with contractors and suppliers
Assisting and co-ordinating with departmental projects
Responsible for receiving, dispatching, prioritizing and tracking Engineering work orders
Maintain the POMEC forecast, cheque book system, and accruals as directed by the Chief Engineer
Able to organize and input all information for a preventative maintenance program
Organize contractor/supplier files
Assisting Engineering/Housekeeping staff as required
Assisting other operating departments as needed.
Other tasks as assigned
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Must be organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize
Must have excellent typing skills
Computer literate in the following programs: Windows, Excel, Word, Internet
Knowledge of Opera an asset
Understanding of General Maintenance and/or previous experience in Engineering an asset
