Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is looking for Small Outlet Servers.  A Small Outlets Server is responsible for delivering In Room Dining Food & Beverage Service to hotel guests, as well as assisting in the daily operation of the Obsessions Delicatessen as a cashier and attendant.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role requires a minimum 6 month commitment.  You will report directly to the Small Outlets Manager, Supervisor, and Captain, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Obsessions

  • Preparing sandwiches and guest orders for service.
  • Operation of cash, including close-out of all bills 
  • Elevating the guest experience
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of Deli work areas, guest eating areas, storage areas, and equipment
  • Preparation of Boxed Lunches for in-house groups
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels and adhering to proper rotation standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Room Service

  • Preparation of delivery trays and room service drops
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of work areas, storage areas, and equipment
  • Elevating the guest experience
  • Delivering on all food and beverage standards
  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels and ensuring proper rotation is adhered to
  • Maintaining the resort hallways by ensuring adequate floor sweeps are conducted
  • Other duties as assigned 


THE KNOWLEDGE:

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
  • Proven dedication to providing the highest level of guest service
  • Able to handle stress effectively through busy periods
  • Must be highly Health & Safety conscious
  • Computer skills (Micros) 
  • Organized and effective time management
